Well, you've made it here, so welcome! Thanks for stopping by.

Here on the Ten-Tec 538 Jupiter Resource Site, we've got a collection of information to assist and inform users of the Ten-Tec Jupiter, which is a software-defined HF radio of considerable popularity. Manufactured by Ten-Tec in Sevierville, Tennessee, the Jupiter really revolutionized the way we look at HF radio design, and eventually led to Ten-Tec's releasing an even more powerful (and expensive) radio called the Orion.

The Jupiter, far less expensive and much simpler to operate, has remained very well received. There are thousands of users around the world, and most of them are likely to have questions or need information now and then. That's why this site exists.

Ken Hopper, N9VV (read more about him in the "About" section) originally collected what forms the core of this collection. I've added a few things since I took over maintenance of it. More recently, in June 2010, I completely overhauled the site. It's now based on a content management system known as Joomla, which gives the site maintainability and frees the maintainer from the drudgery of HTML editing without compromising versatility or usability. I hope you find it useful.

Up above and to the left is the main menu, which you can use to navigate around the site.  Again, I'm glad you're here, and if there's anything I can do to be of assistance, or if you have something to add, please contact me using the contact form.  Thanks, and 73.
